装修房间~

最近忙着把我的房间弄好~
好多年没整理了,都不能见人.
 
把旧的桌子丢了~换个新的.
把陈旧的lecture notes也丢了~
总之尽量,一切没用的东西都丢了....
 
打扫时,
居然翻出了我小学收藏到现在的礼物;纪念品等等的东西,....
丢了......心酸.
 
也翻出了我小学收藏到现在的旧钞票,银角
... 没丢.... 继续藏....暗笑.
 
陈旧的记忆,也被这些东西呼唤了回来.
平时也不知道藏在我脑海里的哪个阴暗的角落了....

IPPT again

Went for IPPT again on SAT Oct 24, and this time with KK Ong, my ex supervisor.
Managed to get Silver again this year,
and got back $200 from the government within 2hrs at the camp.
 
But i do not feel happy at all? I wonder....................
 
Too much things and troubles these days.
And i did not die which i tried and i thought i would
when I push myself above limit when running 2.4km.
 
My body hurts like hell but is nothing compared to my spirit and heart.
 
Will post the result when SAF update in my SAF portal, to remember this day when i got old.

人生就是这样的

最近发生了很多事,好的,坏的,开心,不开心的,悲伤的都有.
出过度假这几天,天天想着工作的事,害得我玩的不是很尽兴,可能也影响了我的队员.虽然很努力的掩饰.
 
最近发现,有时幸福就在眼前,可是就是要等到想要也要不到时,才发现他的珍贵.
没珍惜,太可惜. 
以后一定要早点发现人生想要什么,早点追求.有机会就尝试.
过后后悔,就太迟太可怜了.
 
做了5年半的打工仔了,也是时候该换换环境了.
从来没想过会做这么久.
这些年,时间是我一生中过的最快的.
回头想了想,有点可怕.
一点也不后悔我的选择.失业一年也不会.
所以,这里应该不是我要的幸福吧?
 
今晚,不能再失眠了.
我还能要到我的幸福吗?

Ho Chi Minh 2009Oct 17-20

No mood to write about the tour after i come back, so copied itinerary written by someone on the places that i have gone.

我的枯燥人生中的美丽回忆....Crying再给我多一些光彩吧~~

17日抵达：胡志明市

注意： 

换钞票1:11900。

范五老街Pham Ngu Lao St

背包客的天堂，许多东西都是最便宜的，Guest House不计其数、水5000盾一大桶、明信片全国最低价，吃饭好像不便宜。在这里买湄公河一日游票（考虑中……）和去大叻/美耐的车票。

附：推荐游客坐Open Bus，因为那是最越南Style的旅行方式。著名的SINH Cafe 定open bus。Open Bus一般要求提前一天确认行程，他们会连夜根据人数调配不同的车型，但绝对不会借故取消班次。

圣母大教堂（Nha Tho Duc Ba）& 西贡邮局（Buu Dien Sai Gon）

西贡红教堂开放的时间非常有限，适合一大早就去，在那里看朝阳辉映，教堂的红砖映衬在蓝天下分外抢眼。圣母大教堂是西贡最大的法国天主教堂，建成于1883年，典型的文艺复兴时期风格。十分可惜的是它不让入内参观，你只能围着它外面转一圈。随后你直接走进旁边黄绿相间的邮局，去细细品味富丽堂皇的法国穹顶。西贡邮局的职员们已经习惯了大家光看不邮，他们会认真地做自己的事情，把你当做他们的风景。邮局长途电话亭边的墙上绘着一幅旧西贡地图，据说还是当年法国人手绘的呢！中央邮局的明信片是最贵的，别处随便什么地方都只要1/4的价钱。一张明信片寄回中国要7,000盾(3块多RMB)，将近20天能到，超级慢。

市政厅（Thu So Uy Nham Dan Than Pho）

离开邮局后你只需步行一刻钟，就来到了市政厅。它过去是西贡的市政府，现在依然是胡志明市的市政府。因为是政府机关，你无法进去参观，可是光看外表，你就被它宏伟的气势所折服，广场上有胡志明的雕像，再加上马路对面格外整齐的花园，你不得不惊叹于越南人民的智慧和才干。

战争罪行纪念馆（B.T Chung Tich Chien Tranh）&独立宫／统一宫（Dinh Thong Nhat）

离开市政厅后步行几个街区先到战争罪行纪念馆（门票12000VND），因为它中午12:00-14:00要休息（你若没有看完，下午可以凭票接着看）。在纪念馆里你可以看到越南人民为了独立和法军的艰苦战役，看到当年美军在越南的种种暴行，但是奇怪的是你看不到日军侵略越南的情况，更看不到越南同我国战争的历史描述。也许对于越南来说，“越战”是他们最值得书写的篇章。

纪念馆旁边的旧总统府――现在称独立宫（门票15000VND，开放时间：7:30-11:00,13:00-16:00），是南越末代总统阮文绍一家人当年工作和生活的地方，直到1975年北越统一越南后，他全家逃亡法国。据说现在他依然生活在法国，越南政府也没有追究他什么。独立宫地面三层地下一层，仔细看看，他的生活也算简朴，地下一层是总统的作战指挥中心，里面破旧的指挥设备似乎注定了他的失败。参观完毕后还有VCD放映室，专门播放越南的独立和统一纪录片。虽然号称有越英法中日韩等多个语言放映厅，但是我们去时它只开放了越英法三个，想来想去，还是到英语厅里上了堂听力课。总统府的花园里停放着二辆坦克，它们炮管正对着总统府。据传当年就是这二辆英雄的战车率先攻入的。

滨城夜市（Ben Thanh Market）吃东西

越南(南越)的法国殖民文化根深蒂固，法棍、滴滴壶咖啡是寻常小百姓的生活必需，法式例汤、焗烤菜在许多街头小店都是标准配备。普通的越南菜也是很有特色，尤其是炒蟹、卷鱼还有大龙虾（一只才200000VND），让人流连。

PHO，就是河粉。半个小柠檬，香茅 (可能还有生姜叶)，使河粉的味道很清爽，后来我们在各种越南传统菜里都看到了这种配料(包括越南春卷)。可以去Pho2000吃顿饭，当年克林顿来这的时候在这家餐厅吃过。西贡街头吃大排档PHO一般8000D算是较便宜的了，好一点的要1万多盾，每到晚上都是人满为患，想想国内4-8块钱也差不多这个价格了。

夜游西贡河（Saigon River）沿岸走一圈，逛一下西贡街头的酒吧。

 

18 日下午/20日：美奈(Mei Ne/ Mui Ne 属于Phan Thiet藩切）

We took bus at 7:30am, reach Mei Ne at around 11am.

Eat and went to look for tour guide. Rained in the afternoon so we slept most of the time.

Ate dinner and found another tour guide and when with his brother the next day on below places.

越南行最值得一去的地方(名副其实)，但在越南地图上却找不到这个地名，美奈（Mui Ne）是个海边小镇，旅店普遍比较贵，最后找了一个一晚18美元的靠海边的房间，这算是我们在越南住的最贵的了，如果你不会驾摩托车就自己走吧，这样比较自由有省钱。租一辆大约USD6.也可以谈好的吉普车去。

白沙滩（White Sanddune）沙子都是白色的，很软并且很平，很适合滑沙，20,000一位，有小孩子拿着类似塑料板的东西给你用，速度不是很快，哪怕在最陡的地方滑。红沙滩（Red Sanddune）人比较多，卖东西的人也很多。鱼市（Fishing Village），当地人晚上出海打渔，早晨回来后就把鱼，虾什么的拿到这来卖，由于大船不能靠近岸边，所以当地人都用这种类似碗的东西往返于岸边和船。

Fairy Stream，一条很小的河流，甚至说不上是河，但水很干净，水里的沙子也很软。

We took sleeping coach back to Ho Chi Minh at 12mn on 19th night.

Reach Ho Chi Minh at around 6am. Wandered around, and went to Ben Thanh Mkt. I bought Lengendee Coffee for 2 box for 500,000. Cheap compared to ordering online by almost 50%.

4月22日

Langkawi, Penang Trip

Set off immediately from work on 9thApril 2009.
Rush for bus at city square.
Have a big trouble getting across the causeway, as too many people squeezing at the woodland checkpt to get across the bridge.
I wonder why there is no way to walk across.
Wasted at least 40min over there, and i think at most 20min is needed to walk across.
 
Anyway, managed to get across, waited for the bus to Alor Setar till 10pm before we got into it.
Suppose to have the bus at 9pm.
Reached Alor Setar at 8am.
Searched for breakfast before taking taxi at RM18 to jetty before taking ferry to Langkawi.
There is an agent at the jetty, and we rent car from him at RM60, and one day tour at Pulau Payar at RM140.
 
Reach Langkawi at 11pm.
Went to take car and ticket for snorking before driving off for hotel.
The car has not much oil, and we wasted time searching for a petrol station.
Skipped lunch that day, and found a hotel at Cendang Beach at AB Motel.
 
Eat lunch only at 5pm.
Then tried to go to the cable at Oriental Village, but too late and closed at 6pm.
We drive and tried to get home but got lost, and road was dark.
But managed to get back after driving for an hr.
Langkawi does not have many road. Luckily.
Rained the 1st night. There is a festival and i was waken by firework at 12mn.
 
Next morning, went to Pulau Payar and there is a specialise bus and took us to the jetty again.
Ferry took around 40min to reach the island. But i think is less beautiful than Redang.
Got sunburn, took some pics with my pathetic handphone. JL seemed to enjoy more than me.
Got lots of mosquito and fishes.
 
Got back to Langkawi at 3pm. Went back, and did not go to cable although we planned to do that yesterday.
Too tired.
Rest and relax at Cenang Beach, and that is a nice choice. Really enjoyed that.
Managed to wake up and watch firework that night. Pretty.
 
11April. Suppose to go back to Penang by taking the 2:30pm ferry. Went to Cable finally, and this time we went too early.
So we went to the 7 wells and waterfall beside it. Nice.
Then go back to cable at 10am, and got down at 12pm.
 
Then we rush to Durian waterfall and have a look. Very nice too. But just too rush.
Then we rush to buy ferry ticket at exact 2pm. Return the car, and bought the ferry tickets.
Only have just enough time for lunch at KFC before going to the ferry.
 
3hrs at boat before reaching Penang at 5pm+.
Reached there, immediately chopped by taxi driver.
Charged us RM15 for a 3min ride to a hotel. Friendship hotel near the jetty.
The hotel is good, and boss is friendly and helped a lot, but the taxi driver is a  %$*&^#**@^!!!!
 
 

Went to Gurney Plaza after checking at the hotel. Took bus there and the people there are very helpful. I think 2nd country that is so helpful to tourist after japan?

Eat alot over there. Chow Kuay Tiao, Rojak, Laksa. I ate less than LJ, amazing.

Went back to hotel after that, and rest till next day. BTW, JL prays alot, and i have to wait for her for a long long time....

Rained that night trying to get back. Drenched and we lost our way, before reaching the hotel. JL was not happy again.

12April. Went to Fort Cornwallis, before taking bus to Kek Lok Temple the next morning.

Got bird shit on my head before going to temple, and had to go back hotel and wash before setting off. Spend a bit time searching for bus too. I ate Hokkien Mee before going to temple

Kek Lok Temple is nice, and i spend most of the time looking at scenery from the hilltop and playing with a cat while JL prayed.... We ate more after coming down, and i at another bowl of Prawn Noodle and ice Kachang.

Tried to take a bus to Penang Hill after that as hot, but wasted 40mins waiting for bus instead before giving up and walking to the hill. JL was pissed off and not happy with walking. I am too tired too. But... what can i do?

Anyway, the hill is high, and the temp is cool, and managed to cool her a bit. But too little time to rest up there, and we have to rush down again. Ate Penang Hor Fun before taking bus to the hotel to take lauggage and rushing for bus at Komtar.

Rained .... again after we reach hotel and bathed. JL have not started bathing after i have bathed, and she wanted to use the bath room i used as she said that other bathroom are smelly or not working. If i know, i would use other bathroom and let her use that one at the start instead of wasting time.

Rained after we bathed, and JL was not happy. Have walked a bit distance to take bus, in the direction the hotel boss told me which i told JL, but she not happy as we have to walk in the rain. Cannot find taxi, but the distance was not really that far as imagined, and we took bus in the end, and reach the bus counter at Komtar. On time again. Luckily.

Rest not very well in bus, and reached Singapore the next morning.

13April. I got off at the woodland checkpt, and decided to go to work immediately from there.

Have been working hard since that day, and hardly go back earlier than 8:30pm and reach home before 10pm everyday till today. Urgh.

2008 回忆录

新的一年又来了。回忆今年发生了什么事。总结一下。
 
1)Unexpected:
An indian bump me while driving.
Still haven't claim the compensation yet.
Wondering now if the repair shop boss is cheating my $.
 
2)Leisure:
Genting and KL. Jan 5-7.
ShangHai tour. March 22-27.
Planning to go to Penang soon before new year.
 
3)Work:
Internal Transfer from PEI to QA CS. May 20.
Became good friend with Charlene and Emily.
Emily got retrenched due to bad economy and UMC has no $.
Wondering how long I can last.
 
4)Friends:
Hwee Ngoh left UMC.
Lu Ying left UMC.
KK left UMC.
ZhenCe left UMC.
Zhenxin moved house.
Zhaoxin moved house.
Flower graduated and moved house.
Christian married.
Zhang Guowei has a baby.
Wentian went Las Vegas to work.
Roy went Taiwan to work. No more run partner.
Chia Fu came to Singapore to work.
Cheongyao left Singapore.
Know Maggie.
Visit from Taiwan by Weiyi.
 
5)Study:
CFA Level1 exam taken.
Pray that i will pass.
 
6)Family:
Brother starts working after ORD.
2nd Sister has a very sad experience with maternity. Pray for her.
Brother changed girlfriend....again.
 
7)Health:
Kneel Cap pain earlier of the year. Cured after taking mths of Glucosamine.
Aiming to get silver again for the next Individual Physical Proficiency Test.
Pimples keep growing.Visit skin clinic and ate 2 mths of antibotics. Still not totally cure.
 
8)Religion:
Went to Christmas gathering at Charlene's home. Followed her and said a little prayer.
Spend most of the time eating and watching shows..... Hmmmm

忏悔了

最近被朋友批评了，让我突然自我检讨。
多问了几个朋友我的缺点，得到以下结论：
 
1.很不关心别人的感触。
2.你可能有时只是不了解别人的想法会和你不一样。
3.有時說話有點無聊囉，同樣的話一直說就會覺得無聊 有時還會覺得煩。
4.讲话看似是自嘲的，但又让人觉得油嘴滑舌的。
5.没耐心。(1Yes, 1No)
6.重色轻友。
7.说话的时候有点孩子气。
 
忏悔了。
决定把我的缺点全写下来，设法改过。

洋名

也许我的名字太难记了，很多人都问我有没有洋名。
每次都不好意识的摇头。
 
有几次想随便说我就叫KY好了，又短又好记。
也有几次想说叫我kenny好了，应为跟Genyi 或Kng Yih 都很接近。
也有几次想说Ken就好了，缩短一点。
可是也有几次想取炫一点的名字，James最近就好像很出名。
James Ong? 听起来不错，可是又怕太多女生追。。。不过被恐怖分子射杀的机率应该比较大吧？
 
有没有人想给点建议啊？我会认真地考虑一下。

Changi PCN

星期六，我跟了我17年的老朋友舜良做了一点傻事。
 
好几个月没见了，突然来了个sms,说想去changi park connector 骑脚车。
通常不是女人约不出门的我，还是去了。
跟我姐借了2辆脚车，跟我爸借了货车，晚上8点半开了车去。
迷了点路，10点还是到了east coast park。
 
Changi Park Connector,从east coast Park 到changi village 要1。5hrs。
还好是晚上，我们才没有被晒黑。
天气凉，很不错。晚上的景色也很棒。
情侣多到我和舜良都不自在。
到了changi village还看到了传说中的人妖。还好是我们吃了夜宵之后。
凌晨1点看到妖，还是会毛骨悚然。

回去也是1。5小时。开车回家前还看到一对情侣在车上XX,看到我们也不理，继续的XX....

又发现了一个大家不回家可以去的地方。
如果想钓鱼，吃夜宵，骑脚车，露营，烧烤，男扮女装，或XX,可以考虑去east coast 跟changi village....

A New Start Ahead:Part II：走了

自从我换了部门后，已经有1个月9天了。旧同事看到我时都会说我的气色好多了。
这是我由始以来，我难得我觉得我做对的一件事了~真的很庆幸我当时的决心。
这里，我要感谢Ricky大老板拖了一个多月后，还是被我的决心感动而签下的换部门application form.
我也要感谢我的旧小老板让我要走的决心。
我更要感谢我的新现任老板收留了我， 让我发现工作可以快乐。
谢谢，谢谢，谢谢大家。
 
一个月了，回头看看我的旧部门。真的很庆幸我不在那里了。
因为大家都开始散了。第一代的老人都不在了。
Luo Cheng Chong 走了2。5年了。现在是Pilot~~他是我的偶像。
之后，我的mentor 变老板也在今年2月低走了。做65nm之后。也是受不了这种生活跟我一样做了决定。
还有RJ Guo.我的旧大老板。我以前的老板。做了 65nm之后，圣体变差，不做PEI了。RJ是我少数佩服的人。保重。
最后的Lei Zhen Ce走的更可怜，上个星期5居然被后辈和我的旧小老板请走了。我也不是很清楚。不过我为他感到不值，Angry。
算了，大家都有他们的路要走。
 
我还是不要写太多，不然我泄漏太多公司机密我搞不好也得走了。
以前要是被请走也不觉得怎么样，不过现在我很开心，可不想这么快走了。
所以大家要是看了这篇文章笑笑了就请忘记，不要帮我宣传。
以前就有文章写了很多我公司的故事，而在公司很轰动。当然，那个人走了。

A New Start Ahead

一转眼，我居然快要步入3开头的岁数了。
想想我这一生，过的最快的也是我开始当上班族的这几年。一眨眼，4年就过了。
虽然跟大学和中学的过程一样就，可是感觉比读大学和中学的时间过的还要快10倍。
 
没有毕业证书，没有奖牌。只有银行户口不断增加的数字。一点成就感都没有。
 
这4年，认识的人比大学中学还要多，可是真正的朋友却更少了。多而不精吗？
还是应为generation gap?还是因为朋友都开始成家立业了，没时间沟通，只有我这个还海吊儿郎当？
 
学的东西看的东西比学校少了，可是有用的却比较多了。少而更精吗？
 
出国的次数也是上班后开始increase。拼命的到处玩玩玩。。。
 
一到3开头，我也会开始我的新的工作单位，QA。
我再也不是PEI了，再也不可以highlight module,把他们拉下地狱。
真是少了人生的一大乐趣。。。
 
放弃之前学的东西，开始新的learning。
逃避旧的工作，面对新的挑战。
 
还有更重要的，要慢慢地为我的将来准备准备。。。。。
看来接下来的日子的步伐也不会慢下来。

ShangHai 2008March22-27

Went to Shanghai on the 22nd of March.
Booked hotel at Jingjiang Inn.
Not a bad hotel considering the price and location.
Cost RM199 per night. Thank you Zou Lei.
 
Day1
Raining. Walked around people square park.
 
Day2
Sunny day.
Walked around people square park again, booked a one day tour to Hangzhou with RM188
Went to the Bund by walking from Nangjing Xi Rd and Nangjing Dong Rd. Saw the TV station tower.
Went to the Yu Yuan Garden.
 
Day3
Went to Hangzhou
Saw West lake. Yue Fei Temple, Fei Lai Feng, Lei Feng Ta.
The tour guide took us to taste Tea, and see the Silk shop.
Went to the Food Street at People Square park and eat before going back.
I did not have time for lunch for this one day tour.
 
Day4
Went to shop around People Square park again.
Eat and shop, eat and shop
I got sore throat.
 
Day5
Eat and shop again, and went back home the next morning....
 
Interesting things that i never saw before.
1:Tour guide scolding the tourist through the mic.
2:Bicycle inside the train.
3:Newspaper distributor distributing newspaper to different parts of Shanghai using the train.
4:Cars driving through the red traffic light everywhere.
